great stay with comfort
Location is really excellent, Room conditions and services were really extraordinary, Food mouthwatering. Amenties and the receptions are too good.. we really had superb time at Mountain Beach.



Mountain Beach Hotel, South Pattaya, Thailand

• Liked — Great staff, especially the front desk, housekeeping very friendly, and the restaurant manager/bartender - very professional and sincere
• Disliked — very few English-speaking guests; almost every guest was from Russia only, not from a mixture of various countries. Could not communicate with them. Exercise equipment unfuctional and rusted out. Water pressure and warm water almost non-existent during the last week of our stay.
• Tips/Secrets — Central to either Central Pattaya or Jomtien Beach. Away from the traffic and noise, because it is up on the hill away from the crowds, in a small little village area of its own.

A problem from start to finnish
Upon entering Pattaya we drove around for quite some time trying to find the hotel only to realize that it was a ways away from the city center. When we finally arrived at Mountain Beach Hotel we were greeted with the information that they had canceled our booking the previous day without telling us.

The manager on duty was helpful in getting my wife and I another room but the room we were finally given was badly in need of a make-over. Our room, however, was relatively clean. The nail in the coffin for this hotel was when I came in with my wife after a night on he town.

The hotel staff literally yelled at her to show some ID because they thought she was a local Thai girl accompanying me to my room. We had already stayed in the hotel for 3 days by this time and my wife had repeatedly (and kindly) explained that she was not Thai. When the front desk staff realized they had just accused one of their guest of being a hooker they did not bother to apologize to my wife who was very hurt and insulted by their actions. If you NEED a place to stay I suppose this hotel might fit the bill but I would recommend looking elsewhere. There are so many other hotels in Pattaya that are better run, cheaper, and more central.

That was a wonderful Hotel with a very beautiful green area. the room and bathroom was afew small but that is enough. the wiew was very good.Staff were kind and freindly. the breakfast was excellent in the open area restourant.If we came back pattaya there will
